What is On AVANCE:
The Association On AVANCE was born in 2020 with an innovative and supportive spirit to help the vulnerable, disadvantaged and the ones poorly integrated into society because of their precarious situation.
Our goal is focused on children, in order to open their eyes to a world of possibilities that reaches out to them. It is our intention to guarantee them a minimum right to choose what they want to do in their professional and future life. Above all, it is about not allowing them to ever lose their hopes of being a child and then becoming a happy and fulfilled adult.
The Association on AVANCE pursues the following goals:
- To Contribute to the socio-educational development of Swiss children and children from all over the world who are in need.
- To Create a human and collaborative network of professionals working in behalf of children and adults, whether in a private or public setting.
- To Promote an educational, formative and socio-cultural exchange between Switzerland and developing countries.
- To achieve our goals, we organize projects, activities and workshops, mainly for young audiences, but not only. We are committed to participating in festivals and markets to promote the association’s actions, allowing us to generate funds for our future projects.

Arriving in Switzerland in 2014 to continue my studies at the Vatel hotel school, today I work as managing on-board sales operations for SWISS Air Lines in Geneva. Passionate about humanitarian causes and social actions, I am delighted to dedicate my time to a cause that touches me deeply.

President
I am a professional driver business employee (secondary II) and passionate about creative teaching (HETS recognition). After completing my initial studies in Brazil, I had the pleasure of doing my first professional experiences in Switzerland, since 2011, a country I love deeply.

I am a computer scientist and I worked for over 25 years in the IT field. I have participated in many software development projects in the fields of health and health insurance. Then I changed my professional life towards gastronomy and tourism. I have been living in France since January 2020 and I am developing a personal project in Portugal.

Graduated in Fashion Design from Santa Marcelina University, where I developed a great aesthetic sense. I like to create and develop projects.
I am Brazilian and have been living in France since January 2020.
Currently, I am dedicating myself to a new personal project in Portugal.

I am a teacher of General Culture and Watchmaking Practice (DIP, Secondary II). After obtaining a CFC watchmaking-Rhabilleur at the Geneva School of Watchmaking, I pursued a master’s degree in History at UNIGE and a degree in General Culture at the IFFP in Lausanne.

Graduated in business administration and master’s degree in international business with 6 years of experience in business analysis. A forward-thinking person with good communication, multitasking and organizational skills. Living in Geneva for 2.5 years. Immersed in Swiss culture, I speak Portuguese, English, Spanish and French.

My name is Alice Almeida Santos, I am 9 years old, I am Swiss, but my parents are Brazilians. I have already traveled several times with my parents, who have shown me the joy of travelling, of getting to know different people, and also the profound reality of our world. I realized that the other children did not have the same chances as me, such as going to school. That’s why I’m committed as a junior ambassador of On Avance, to defend a more equal and fair world for all!
